We are pleased to announce the release of FlashCAN Nissan GTR, tuning for the Nissan GTR R35 range of vehicles from 2008 to 2011, including the newest 2011 models and Nismo special editions.

FlashCAN Nissan GTR allows re-calibration of the highly advanced OEM Nissan ECU. This allows further power to be released from mechanically standard vehicles, as well as enabling the creation of devastatingly fast bespoke vehicles that can incorporate a wide range of engine and drivetrain enhancements. Power increases of 60BHP can be achieved without any mechanical modifications to the GTR. With suitable exhaust, intake and/or turbo upgrades, increases in output of several hundred BHP are possible.

FlashCAN Nissan GTR was designed to work with the RaceROM Feature Enhancement system, providing custom features not available on the standard manufacturer ECU software, such as:

Map Switching – Provides alternate maps for fuel, timing, VVT and rev limits which can be switched while the vehicle is in operation.
Speed Density – Provides the option to run the vehicle fuelling based on MAP, engine speed and air temp, allowing the removal of the MAF or larger intakes.
RaceROM Boost Controller – Provides the ability to adjust the boost level while driving, using the cruise control switches and on-board navigation display system
Large fuel injector support – Provides the ability to use greater than 750cc injectors, which are not supported by the standard ECU software.
Upshift boost spike prevention – Provides a safety mechanism to prevent the boost from spiking during gear shifts. Essential if running increased levels of boost.

What is RaceROM?

RaceROM is a suite of feature enhancements available for OEM ECUs tuned with EcuTek tuning tools, which offers increased tuning & driving capabilities. RaceROM is available for specific ranges of engine management systems, initially for Subaru electronic throttle (Drive-by-wire) based ECUs. It will also be available for Nissan GT-R shortly.

Why add Features to the Standard ECU?

Without question, the OEM ECU offers the best cold start, driveability and refinement when compared to aftermarket ECU hardware. However, many aftermarket ECUs provide extra (generally motorsport related) features, that many enthusiasts desire. Unfortunately, when replacing the standard ECU with an aftermarket ECU, the refinement of the standard ECU is often lost.

Now with EcuTek RaceROM, this compromise is no longer necessary. By way of a software upgrade to the standard ECU, RaceROM adds many custom calibration options to the standard OEM ECU, offering features beyond the standard fuelling, ignition and boost control, yet retaining its driveability, sophistication and fuel economy.

Below, the features available for each vehicle type are detailed.

RaceROM Subaru

RaceROM for Subaru is available now! RaceROM currently supports the following features on Subaru Electronic Throttle based ECUs:

Map Switching for Fuel, Accelerator, Timing, Boost, VVT and Rev Limit.
Per-gear boost control.
Per-gear rev limits.
Launch Control.
Downshift auto blip.
Flat-foot shifting.
Speed Density based calibration option.

Note that due to space constraints within some ECUs, not all features are available on all vehicles. However, all features are available on the majority of ECUs. This is due to the available space within the ECUs code and data storage areas varying from ECU to ECU. 153 Subaru ECUs are currently supported.

RaceROM Nissan GT-R

RaceROM for Nissan GT-R R35 will be available soon! It will support Japanese, European & US vehicles from 2008-2011 model years. RaceROM for Nissan GT-R currently provides the the following feature enhancements:

Map Switching for Fuel, Timing, VVT and Rev Limit.
16-bit boost cut maps.
Upshift boost spike prevention.
Per-gear boost control.
Per-gear rev limits.
RaceROM Boost Controller.
MAF Left-Right Swap for custom intercoolers.
Large fuel injector support.
Extra Parameter Logging.
Visual knock warning.

All RaceROM GT-R features are available on all GT-R R35 ECUs.

Kocar won the Polish Time Attack, beating cars with significantly higher power outputs.
Crawford Performance have powered vehicles in several major US events such as the Super Lap Battle, ESPN X-games, and the Gymkhana Grid.
Zenkai Motorsports have consistently taken first place at events across Nevada in the Super Lap Battle and Redline Time Attack, setting new class records with a RaceROM tuned Subaru.

Mai prima d’ora si è stati in grado di mappare un motore diesel MITSUBISHI in questo modo

Grazie al software Ecutek è possibile intervenire finemente sui tempi di iniezione e su numerosi altri parametri che permettono un funzionamento ottimale della vettura, anche se equipaggiata con FAP!

Grazie alla riprogrammazione tramite presa diagnosi della centralina abbiamo visto incredibili miglioramenti di potenza e di coppia sia nel 2.5 che nel 3.2. ed è stato registrato un miglioramento anche nel consumo di carburante.

Pajero 3.2 DI-D: da 160CV a 200CV e la coppia da 360Nm a 430Nm

L200 2.5 DI-D: da 136CV a 175CV e la coppia da 314Nm a 390Nm

I sistemi di iniezione diesel sono oggi molto complessi ed i moduli aggiuntivi non bastano più.

A causa della quantità di controlli a circuito chiuso e dei limiti sul flusso d’aria e fumi, non è più possibile utilizzare i classici “moduli aggiuntivi“ per ingannare la pressione del carburante.

E’ possibile ottenere in tutta sicurezza un extra di

30 kW (più di 40 CV) e 20% in più di Coppia

da 0-100 km/h 2 secondi in meno! (15%)
